Site description: Original Sunset Skies, Seascapes, Abstract and traditional fine Art.

Editors comment: The main image above is best described by Wendy's own words:
'Original Skyscape in warm Ochre Yellow, unframed on a deep Box Canvas', I say you need to look at the original on Wendy's site, brilliant.
clicking the image above, takes you straight to the page it's listed on where you can obtain more details.
How do you paint a picture like that? absolutely beautiful.

The paintings on display below are all self explanatory, the main theme to the artists work is colour, strong colour blended in a truly professional way that is self evident in all of the work.

Harmonious Skies Last Light Sultry Skies Sky Mountain Mellow Yellow

I love the warm purples in the first one, 'Last Light' is heavy and you really can imagine the sun setting with that failing light just prior to darkness. 'Sultry Skies' is another example of skillful colour blending. 'Sky Mountain' is different I suppose, again though strong use of colour and perspective to show distance, lovely. Last painting above, 'Mellow Yellow' stunning colours, stunning painting.

Paintings below, 'Touching the Sky' a sunset with distant mountains, painted with rich dark tones, 'Golden Glaze' is, well, almost glazed, a marble effect, I love the softness of this painting. 'Zulu' is vibrant with its colours and gives a terrific sense of warmth, beautiful, similar is 'Ruby Sunday', the sun just peeps through the cloud, excellent. The last one, 'Skies of Emotions', combines an incredibly bright sky with the last moments of an amazing day.

I think it's fair to say that Wendy Puerto knows a thing or two about painting, the artist paints with such feeling and emotion that it shows in all of her work. A truly unique artist who paints from the soul.

About Wendy Puerto:
I grew up in Battersea South West London, I have painted for as long as I can remember.
I now live in Essex I appreciate the space and the scenery which often gives inspiration for my art. I find everyday something will give me ideas to get on and paint. Ideally I would like to live by the sea and perhaps open a gallery.

I am always willing to consider any reasonable offers on any of the pieces that catch your eye. I also would like to paint exactly what you are looking for so if you have any ideas then why not commission your own painting.
