Editors comment: The artists description is pretty much accurate, the paintings are without doubt influenced by the impressionists of the past. I almost envy artists who paint still life, I did try once and it's much more difficult than you may think. Let's take the bowl of lemons, and the melon, on the right, we are looking down on to the subject, the perspective is incredibly difficult to draw correctly yet Patricia makes it all seem easy. It's not !
Again with perspective take the main image above, beautifully painted and incredibly complex, the artist makes it all look so easy. You should enjoy a visit I certainly have.
