Editors comment: This site has a wealth of 'affordable' and lovely paintings, there are many artists listed and all work is to a high standard. I find it difficult to describe the work individually, but I'll do my best. The 'Poppies and Cornflowers' below left is beautiful, simple as that. The second one, 'A New Days Promise' I find is calming, it's one I could just look at forever. 'Bare Bodkin' is I think a painting that has a strange feel to it, I'm not sure. 'Sunrise from Stonehaven Beach' is another one that oozes calm, a relaxed feeling is what I feel. 'Arisaema #1' is a lovely close study of intense detail, black and white can give good feelings and this one does.
All of this sites artists are good, make no mistake, they do deserve your time and if you are looking for a nice piece of art then have your plastic ready.
