Editors comment: 'Lily Pads' is the name of this watercolour, and once again we have this skilful application that the artist makes look easy when it's everything but. I like water for a subject, the light dancing on the surface is so tricky to get but so pleasing when achieved. Considering this is a compressed image file I wonder what the original looks like. I can only imagine, the original is sold, not surprising.that's . The balance of yellows against the blues is striking, a satisfying contrast that brings 'life' to the work. Beautiful.
Site description: I love painting rivers, people and the countryside. But I am well known by many as the "Wave Man" because of my large "surf wave" paintings
Editors comment: This artist is truly versatile, from the complicated technical perspective of this lovely painting here to the wild of the worlds oceans he excels. In particular I like this work here, 'Bridge Street Wickham' as it involves the complications of perspective, the drawing itself needs to be right or the work will fail, Martin has no problems with it. The gentle greys work well with the stronger reds and in-between we have the yellowing trees. The whole composition works well.

Site description: Colourful, original and unusual art and sculptures. Many Artworks painted using 'Soulscapes' method. Available as Greetings Cards, or lightfast Prints.
Editors comment: The only way I can describe this work is to use the artists own words, well almost, the finished artwork is the stuff of dream, the paint is applied and then the creativity takes control. That is an extremely simplified description, the work here speaks for itself, the 'Time Traveller', where we have a combination of clock face with a body suggesting movement. Unique work that deserves even more success.
Editors note: A very refreshing look at modern art when one uses a little imagination. Steven uses a good palette of strong colour, excellent composition and a flowing imagination. One suspects that there is a deep motive to Steven's work, or is it just a little magic, either way we are left to wonder. I have no problem in recommending this artists work to you, especially if you enjoy a little modern/abstract art.
Site description: My work is vibrant and colourful being influenced by the French Impressionists.
Editors comment: Talk about complicated! Where would one begin to draw this composition? just look at the lines and curves, it is surely a skill just to get past the drawing. We have gentle blue at the back, we have warm natural tones in the table and the material draped across it and more lemons in beautiful scooped containers. Patricia paints a very desirable picture, maybe one for the house, your house! I could live with one of these works without doubt. Absolutely lovely.
