About the artist: Peter Weston:

I grew up in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, and loved to paint at school using every spare opportunity to use the schools Art Room, on leaving school at 15 my painting stopped completely until I reached the ripe old age of 60 when i again took up Watercolour Painting as a hobby.

It is thanks to the support and encouragement of both my wife Hilary and daughter Sarah that my painting has progressed to the level I have now achieved.

I currently live in Somerset and appreciate the spectacular scenery offered to me which often gives inspiration for my work. It is the location which gives me the inspiration for many of my paintings. .
