- Editors comment: Nice work. This artist paints an excellent portrait, I have no hesitation in recommending you to pay her site a visit. Maggy uses nice clean paints, no muddy parts at all. A good understanding of watercolour is apparent, the gentle blends of the skin tone for example, the eyes of a subject can quite often be a let-down but Maggy has no problems with them. A lovely, clean approach to painting the subjects hair, the artist cleverly leaves the background clear so as to enable the individual brushstrokes to shine to their maximum potential. The artist has a clear, un-cluttered style that works, and works well.
