Editors comment: When I first saw this painting on the artists site I thought she was standing by her subject who was sitting, wrong, this is a portrait, a darn good one. Jane also paints animal, pet portraits, with equal skill. There is one of two Alsatians called Ace and Amber, again beautiful work. The initial drawing is so accurate it make the finished article look easy, it isn't easy. Excellent work and I'm sure you will enjoy it. There is not more I can say really, the paintings speak for themselves. Brilliant.

There isn't much that I can add to describe this artists work, stunning in one word. Nicholas seems to extract the smallest of detail from his subjects, admittedly they cannot argue with him, joking aside these portraits are about as good as it gets. The image here shows good composition in that there is no part of the painting competing for top spot except the horse! sounds silly but some artists, me included, can sometimes put too much in the background, not here though the background is just nondescript. If you like horses or just like looking at good art then go and take a look you will enjoy them.

Editors comment: Well what can I say?, these paintings are awesome, a well painted wildlife picture is something to behold and these are well painted. It goes without saying that most of us enjoy looking at these magnificent animals from the safety of our armchairs, I could not imagine facing up to anyone of these, and so when an artist such as this young man paints this type of picture I, and most of us, will thank him.
The artist has no problems with the drawing of these animals and so it follows that if the drawing is accurate then the painting has a good chance of success, these paintings are a success. A visit to the site will show you what I mean, a darn good site design as well !!.
