Editors comment: I have picked this painting for the cloud formation alone, a beautiful rendition of natures most prolific blank canvas. Many artists have overlooked the sky as the best subject to paint, never the same, changes even moments later make this a rewarding but difficult subject for artists the world over. Kelvin has 'married' the cool blues to the warm colours exceptionally well, a clear distinction between the two. The birds and the posts have given the work a sense of depth, nice work and well thought out.

Editors comment: Multiple tones of red together with a wide variety of patterns make for an interesting painting, and I am only talking about this one. If complex and interesting colour combinations are your thing you will love this artists work. Jonathan manages to mix all manner of items, colour included, into one complete piece of art that sometimes dazzles the viewer. There is one particular work, 'Preserve', that takes ordinary shapes, circles, and and turns them into art, a talented artist, for sure. Another piece, 'Flurry', so complex. A great display is waiting for you so go and give him a call.

Editors comment: Not being an abstract painter means I do struggle a bit with my description, but, I know when something appeals to me and Alan's work does. It is full of vibrant and rich colours, this together with strong and bold brush strokes make for an interesting painting. I must have spent 20 minutes looking at the artists work without even realizing I had, that is how thought provoking I found it to be. I really do need to ask you to visit and form your own conclusion, it is worth it and you may even surprise yourself.

I'm glad I did, because what work I found was worth the hunt, like the image here, there is feeling and atmosphere, those two ingredients make for good sound art.
