There are some beautiful pet portraits on the artists site, all display the same level of drawing skill. Not content with using colour Sue has many excellent graphite portraits on show. This goes to prove you need talent, not just colour, to be successful. Lovely work and worthy of much of your time.

  • Editors comment: We don't have a description from Robin himself so I shall try and give you an idea. It seems to me that whether the subject is landscape, building or portrait the result is the same, a very nice picture. For some reason I thought colour pencils would give a soft, pastel type of result, but not so, some of the landscape work is quite strong, colour I mean, that means the artist creates a good tonal depth to his work. I love this image because I love dogs, having said that you don't have to be a dog lover to appreciate this. Excellent paintings, go and see for yourself.

Gayle has many paintings on display, for pet lovers there is everything, I chose the one I did because I happen to like dogs the most but the truth is I could have picked any one of them as they are all in this class. Superb paintings drawn with a sharp eye and painted with a keen palette, you should enjoy these, I certainly did.
