Editors comment: A very colourful painting here, it is an example of how colour sits next to each other. The warm browns and reds lead to neutral greys which in turn sit next to purple. Purple is a colour that you don't see very often but Kate uses it and it seems to work well. Where the artist draws inspiration from I don't know but we do get to see some very colourful paintings and that is good. A visit is well worth your while.

Editors comment: An incredibly talented artist! With so much variation to the artists work I find it difficult to know where to begin, so I'll stick with this image here, 'Yellow Field 2011'. You need to take in the artist himself to then understand his work, whether it's paintings, sculptor or photography it is interesting. The artist uses pale colour to create the image that's in his mind, almost pastel in fact, the only yellow here is surrounded by cool blues and greys. I urge you to pay David a visit, you will be pleasantly surprised, I was.

Editors comment: I have spent some time on John's site and I have to say I am impressed with the artists work, it's unique and that means quite a lot in my opinion. I have chosen this picture as I feel it represents the best description of the artists work. The bright red lips contrast nicely with the cool blues, the background colour compliments the other colours with good effect. Editors comment: Mary has a style of painting that is more than unique, it is incredible.This painting here is of a beautiful sunset, the sky is 'alive' with cloud formations and what beautiful colour. The sea treatment is fabulous, and the foreground beach gives the painting excellent depth. Now, that's just this painting, you really do need to visit the artists site because you will be stunned by the other paintings, many of them are night scenes and wow, they are beautiful. My job is priceless, I get to see work like this. Excellent.

Well this artist doesn't do his own work justice in his description, I will try and make up for that. What does intrigue me is the way the work 'pulls in' the eye, there is more in the painting than first glance tells you. I have chosen this painting here, 'Woman Wearing Gold & Jewels', because of that very reason, I kept going back to the work and each time spotted something new. What I can say is that Martin paints using vibrant colour, cleverly letting the tones and hues blend to perfection, some of the work is set on a dark background, even these use content to draw you in. I like the work, it does what it is supposed to do, get you looking, and that can't be bad. Excellent work well presented.
