Editors comment: Vibrant colour is what this painting is all about, the atmosphere in this painting is buzzing. Let's begin with the girl in the foreground, drawn to perfection she gives us all a focus on what this is about, there are more figures behind her but apart from a couple they are all just impressions. Impressions because that's all the human eye can focus on at any one time. The colour is spectacular, bright reds, cold blues all mix to perfection, the linear perspective draws the eye straight down the middle, a beautiful painting.

Editors comment: The only way I can describe this work is to use the artists own words, well almost, the finished artwork is the stuff of dream, the paint is applied and then the creativity takes control. That is an extremely simplified description, this work, 'Rams Head 2', is a sculpture, it is incredibley well thought out, in fact it goes to show the amazing scope of the human mind and its ability to 'imagine', like I say, amazing. The artist has a huge selection of work similar to this and I do recommend you to visit, read the artists reasoning and be amazed.

Editors comment: This painting gives us an idea of what Scotland must look like during the winter, the silver birch trees stand lonely against the snowy landscape background, pure beauty. The artist seems to have no limit to his enthusiasm, all of his paintings are lovely, I cannot find one that isn't. What a talent and we are pleased to be able to show his work to you. Excellent, just excellent.
Now if you think that was good read on. Mary Butterworth is an artist like no other, my opinion anyway, she paints absolutely beautiful pictures of the night. Yes, pictures that make you look, the way she represents night scenes is unique. There are many works that I would love to have on my walls, paintings that just catch the breath, stunning work that I'm sure you will enjoy.

Editors comment: The cold stare of this wolf says it all for me, any artist that can create pencil drawing to this standard deserves to do well. The shading is done very well allowing the crisp detail to stand out, not only the eyes but the whole head is right, some artists have problems when it comes to animals faces, not this one, he is spot on in my opinion.
