Site Description: Tom’s vibrant paintings and atmospheric charcoal drawings explore the ways that human presence over thousands of years is reflected in Cornwall’s landscape forms.. Pieces based on Cornish Festivals like Golowan and Lafrowda are another feature of his work.
Editors comment: Another moody painting that gives Tom's work a unique style, the sail-boat in the distance and the moored sail-boats that are tied up give the viewer a positive sense of distance. Distance can be difficult to achieve, but Tom uses both colour, perspective and tone value to do it. The boats in the foreground are expertly drawn, the cool blues, fading into blue greys make the whole painting work well. I do like this one.

Editors comment: I have chosen this painting here because it typifies the style that Howard Butterwoth paints in, the beautiful Scottish landscape is where the artist does his work, what a place to work in. We see the clever and important composition, the mountains have gentle colours and give the painting the depth that is required, moving from right to left. The trees sweep from left to right, the viewers eye is taken into the furthest point of the landscape. An excellent palette gives us the beautiful end result. Mary, paints in a style that is beyond my words really, she paints night scenes that are really quite beautiful, it is not difficult to see Howard's influence in all of her work. A very talented artist. A very impressive Gallery awaits the visitor.

Editors comment: Isn't this painting just beautiful. The mother, protecting her young, has eyes that can melt your heart. The artist paints all subjects with the same constant attention to detail. In this painting of the Orangutan the artist himself has the perfect description, 'come any closer and I may rip your head off'. That is spot on. This is one of those paintings that I cannot do justice to, in the big original image on the artist's site there are things you just can't see here. You can see for yourself just how detailed this work is by paying him a visit, you will be well satisfied, I am..
Site Description: I am a keen photographer that enjoys working with computer generated photography, I prefer painting, which is my favourite medium. Painting is part of everything I do now.
Editors comment: How on earth do I describe this work of Maria's? It is an oil painting of exceptional quality, the composition, the nice 'leaf' design gently wrapping the figure to the right and bottom. The figure itself is painted with great care and is emerging from the centre of the work. Stunning.

Site description: Highest quality artwork in all media (only using the best materials).
Editors comment: I just love the way Peter Baker presents his work, here we have a nude model, 'Composition 2', painted in such a delicate and inspiring way that you forget the nudity and just see the overall painting, that's clever. The lovely choice of colour, gentle pastel tones, painted superbly, give us, the viewer, satisfaction.
