Editors comment: I have chosen this painting because it is so 'clean' and almost quaint. The artist paints in a pleasant and easy going style that is probably liked by everyone who views it. If we take a closer look at this work we can see the clear blues and warm yellows, Colin uses extreme dark next to extreme light, that gives the work a 3D effect, lots of depth, not just with this work but all of the paintings on view. A mark of how good this technique works is the mere fact you would never have noticed had it not been pointed out. Excellent prices too.
