  • Editors comment: Watercolour as it should be, lovely and well painted. I have chosen this painting because it just reminds me of somewhere to sit back in front of the fire and relax. Enough of me wandering on this bleak October day, Andrew paints in the traditional watercolour style, lots of clean transparent washes carefully layered so as to let the paper shine through. As a watercolorist I appreciate the difficulty some artists seem to have getting this luminosity, it's not easy but Andrew doesn't seem to have any problem at all. I can recommend a visit if you appreciate fine art.

  • Editors comment: Extremely atmospheric watercolours, they are quite stunning, in their frames they must look fantastic. The one I have chosen is of the Titanic in her final death throes, the artist uses a broad choice of strong, warm earth colours, rich in both depth and tone. I didn't think you could get a watercolour with so much depth but obviously you can. All of the work has this incredible depth to it, take another one, 'Rhonda Pit', it too is brim full of feeling, in that case strong cool colours have been used, I can do no more than say take a look, you will be satisfied.

  • Editors comment: Beautiful loose traditional watercolour paintings are waiting for the visitors to this artists site. There is a fine balance between good clean watercolour and a bit muddy watercolour Andrew manages to keep all of his work clean and the result is what you see on the left. He gets the composition and fell of the landscape just right, a wonderful sense of distance is achieved by the gentle washes of paint. As I say beautiful uncluttered easy on the eye watercolour, you should enjoy, I have.

  • Editors comment: As I once used to be a keen yachtsman, when I was a lad, I know what a yacht painting would look like, this painting is exactly what I would expect. The drawing of the craft is vital, if it's not accurate then the painting has no chance, this artist has no problems with the drawings, spot on. Another difficult subject is the sea itself, again it takes no prisoners if it's wrong, this is right, not just right but excellent. Click the image and see for yourself, you will enjoy your visit.

  • Editors comment: Beautiful traditional watercolour, this is the type of subject that you see in all art galleries throughout the country even the world, lovely clean watercolour. Some watercolour artists seem to have problems with keeping the work "clean" in other words just lay the pigment on to the paper and let it settle gently adding more colour as needed, again we have another artist who does not have that problem, great work and I think you will be impressed.

  • Editors comment: I am having difficulty to give you a good description of Michael,s work owing to the limited number of images on display. What I can say is the work looks interesting and varied, it is bespoke in it's subject matter, whatever you want the artist will deliver it. I find the image here really good, it is both comical and serious at the same time, how on earth you imagine this type of art is beyond me and because of that I envy him, I can only paint what I see, this man is better than that. Click the horse and see for yourself.

  • Editors comment: If you are an admirer of pure traditional watercolour then you will love this artists work. The thing that struck me on my visit is the pure cleanness of the pigment, no mud in this work!. The artist has a good eye for the technical detail, perspective and composition are a treat to look at, there is not much more I could say really except give him a visit and be your own judge, beautiful watercolour.

  • Editors comment: Quaint, is my first thoughts when looking at John's painting, a distinct old English watercolour theme, absolutely lovely. I have always thought that when an artist begins to paint a style will develop with time, this artist has a style all of his own, excellent drawing perspective together with good use of colour makes for a nice watercolour, you would recognize a painting by this artist in any exhibition. Go and enjoy your visit.

  • Editors comment: I find this artists site to be extremely interesting, the layout of the contents is different to most, very good and fast to load but most interestingly the work itself. I don't think I have ever come across a style so distinct it is well and truly unique. I have plumped for the Snowdon painting because I know the area well. The Snowdon range is quite difficult a subject, the view changes constantly and one can struggle to fix an image in the mind. This artist has excelled in her interpretation of the view, excellent work and a site to visit.
