  • Editors comment: I'm not a horse person, they scare the heck out of me, but I do know when I see a good painting of one, Megan paints a good one. The accuracy in the drawing is echoed in the painting, she seems to have a skilled and trained eye for detail and it shows with the excellent quality of the finished work, she deserves a little of your time. I certainly enjoyed my visit so go give it a shot.

  • Site description: A selection of Mediterranean inspired watercolours of landscapes, buildings and sea scenes.
  • Editors comment: What beautiful loose watercolour paintings with the Mediterranean warmth embedded deep inside. When you look closely at some of the work you can almost imagine being there, a nice thought. Throughout John's work there is a constant use of warm gentle colour, almost the old English style that I remember in some of the late masters. As a lover of watercolour I am bowled over by the sheer simplicity of them, very clever. I recommend you take a look.

  • Editors comment: Wow what terrific paintings of architecture. As a lover of architectural drawings and paintings these really excite me, two reasons, first of all they are drawn brilliantly, second they are then painted in watercolour, and they are bold paintings not wishy washy. It is a shame there so few on Barry's site but you never know more may be to follow, I sincerely hope so. If you enjoy this type of work then you will be satisfied with your visit to the site.

  • Site description: Contemporary 'challenging' watercolour landscape. Influenced by Taoist thought.
  • Editors comment: A rich bold and extremely imaginative use of colour is used by this artist, like this image here the work evokes strong warmth, to me anyway, and includes texture that is very pleasant to the eye. All in all I like this style as it is unique. I have a job to say much more except to say to you pay him a visit, if you like contemporary artwork then you will love this, I do.

  • Editors comment: I didn't realize that plants had such an interesting background to them, this artist has woken a basic desire of life, to learn. Not only are the paintings very well drawn, showing exquisite detail, and very well painted they also teach us a little about life. The amazing colour in this image of a Chinese rose bring the screen to life. Brilliant in a word and I recommend you to visit the site and see more.

  • Site Name: Miniature paintings by Dave Williams
  • Site description: Miniature paintings in watercolour acrylics local worcestershire scenes and UK
  • Editors comment: What great little paintings this artist produces, the skill required to paint so small must be tremendous. The paintings are extremely well detailed considering the finished painting size, they are tiny but very accurate to the scene portrayed. I don't know where Dave must get his patience from but get it he must because as a watercolour painter I know the frustration of the medium, great work and you should visit, you will like them.

  • Site description: Amateur watercolours of various subjects
  • Editors comment: For an amateur watercolour artist Susan is doing all right, I am well impressed with what I saw on her site, take the picture here, a typical country farmyard scene captured, in my opinion, as good as any watercolour artist could paint. The picture is full of life, light, contrast and the choice of colour is well thought out. All in all I think it's lovely and for any watercolour lover this site is a must.

  • Site description: A tour through my watercolour paintings, from the beginnings early in 2003 to the present day.
  • Editors comment: If Steve has been painting watercolour only since early 2003 he is fast on track to being brilliant. I mean just look at this picture, it is lovely it is well composed and it is painted in the traditional way of the old watercolour style. I can see no reason why anyone would not be only to pleased to have a painting like this on their wall, I certainly would. Go and take a look at the rest.

  • Site Name: My Fineart
  • Site description: Artwork
  • Editors comment: An artist of very few words, I have come to the conclusion she doesn't need to say much the paintings do the talking for her. This image here shows what I am talking about, an excellent drawing ability combing close attention to detail mixed with good use of the palette produce nice warm colours with rich tone, the end result is a first class finished piece of art. As usual I have to say the quality of this thumbnail does not do the original justice. I recommend that you visit the site, you won't be disappointed.
