Editors comment: The artist has no fear of any subject, this is evident in this lovely painting entitled 'Lily of the Valley', in contrast Rosemary has pen and ink sketches of horses and a cute painting entitled 'Little Ted', a teddy bear. This painting here shows a nice subtle use colour, from the deep colour of the background, the calm of the green and the cold almost of the white blooms themselves. White is a difficult colour to reproduce, the artist has no problems though. You will enjoy this varied work, I certainly have.

His talent emerged from his links with the film industry and can be seen here in 'Top Cat' . The way that the artist use various media to his advantage are really quite original. There are many paintings that I could have chosen for this listing but I settled on one that most of us know about, I recommend that you visit the artists site.

Editors comment: Absolutely beautiful, that was my first impression on seeing this this painting. To say it is realistic is an understatement, it is a shame that we only have three pieces of art on display, I'm sure there must be more to follow, surely. If you are a lover of this style of photographic paintings then this could be your man. There is no more to say really except go and see the other two, they are nice.

Editors comment: This artist paints a unique figurative painting. It reminds me of some of the very old book illustrations we used to see. It is distinct and precise with attention paid to fine detail as you can see here. 'Still Waters' is a blend of cool blues contrasted with the warm reds. John doesn't have many works on display, let's hope he shows us more. Take a look you should enjoy.
