  • Editors comment: The artist has absolutely nothing to say about himself, but does he need to? I find his work so intriguing it's unbelievable, the work speaks on his behalf. We have a great palette of strong colour, taken in conjunction with a strong style and an incredible imagination we have truly good interesting artwork. You must visit and once there just look and see for yourself, you could be just as amazed as I was, and still am.

  • Editors comment: If like me you are fond of all animals you should enjoy looking at this artists work. As with the human art form drawing animals is a precise skill, Susan seems to have the skill and it shows. I have chosen the dog here because of it's absolute accuracy, it's a good drawing and the painting benefits as a result, the deep colours and the folds in the animals skin show beautifully, it's just great. There are many other subjects on display and I recommend that you visit, you won't be disappointed.

  • Editors comment: Brilliant, that is my first description, great work deserves credit and I give this artist all the credit I can. Bright and bold use of colour and very careful composition gives us some lovely, original artwork. What must children think of the work?, even the very young must surely gaze in awe. The more I looked inside the site the more I enjoyed. I can only prompt you to visit but you will enjoy what's waiting.

  • Site Name: Gallerista
  • Site description: Artwork inspired by travels in oils and watercolour.
  • Editors comment: Lovely clean paintings created with a vibrant palette is my first impression, there are some lovely little animal/pet portraits/pictures that show the artists obvious drawing skills, to paint an animal you first of all need to draw it, and Frances has no problems in either dept. I sometimes wonder when I look at this type of painting here what inspires the artist, is it the colour or the fact it's alive, albeit only briefly. If you love animal or floral paintings you will love these.

  • Site description: A rough guide to the work of artist and designer Jonathan Polkest
  • Editors comment: Being as I now know Jonathan and his work I can safely say he is talented, very talented. His work varies from the ordinary, whatever that is, to the extraordinary. Some of the artists work leaves me confused and not sure, then I see this picture here and I can only admire his skill, and skill it is, to be able to draw the human form is no easy task, then to paint it with soft, warm and gentle colours, it's good, like I said before talented. If you like a little of the unknown, and the contemporary, then pay him a visit, it is well worth it.

  • Site description: Landscapes and still life together with abstract work.
  • Editors comment: On my first visit to Christine's I came upon those dreaded words, "under construction", well I don't give up that easy so I looked anyway. I'm glad I did, because what work I found was worth the hunt, like the image here, there is feeling and atmosphere, those two ingredients make for good sound art. I like what I saw and the site does look very promising, good design and quick to load so come on Christine get finished. Great work so go and pay a visit.

  • Site description: Abstraction of landscape in main but with diversions!
  • Editors comment: Not being an abstract painter means I do struggle a bit with my description, but, I know when something appeals to me and Alan's work does. It is full of vibrant and rich colours, this together with strong and bold brush strokes make for an interesting painting. I must have spent 20 minutes looking at the artists work without even realizing I had, that is how thought provoking I found it to be. I really do need to ask you to visit and form your own conclusion, it is worth it and you may even surprise yourself.

  • Editors comment: What a well thought out name for the site, I think it's brilliant. Right to the job in hand, Karen's paintings are a pleasure to look at, nothing overcomplicated just good composition and well painted. I chose this image because of it's pure rugged beauty, the artist has captured the terrain and landscape well and just look at that cold winter sky, beautiful. If you enjoy this type of work you will love these paintings, I do.

  • Editors comment: This site makes a slight change from the norm in so much as the artists, there are two, are used to working on all things large, I shall explain, what we see in this image is a backdrop to a stage setting. This is really quite difficult for me as my knowledge of stage backgrounds is nil. What is evident to me is the professionalism of both artists, it really is excellent. This is another site where I need to ask you to visit and you can then form your own opinions. I enjoyed my visit.
