Site description:The nature of
my art is in the naive style with an engaging use of colour and
imagination. Combining my style with mixed media brings texture,
emotion and pleasure to the images.
Editors comment: I love the main piece of work
above, I shall not describe it in any way in the belief you will
visit the artists site and see what it is comprised of, you will
be surprised, I love it.
I cannot do justice to 'The jolly snowmen' below, you really do
need to see the large image, on Katherine's site. The 'beach
huts' I can describe as once again giving us a lovely feeling of
warmth, the really bright yellow and the incredible colours in
the sky combine well. Once again perspective is accurate even
though the image is what I would term 'quite loose' , the artist
gives way to a beautiful and creative imagination and the
brushes must just take on a life of their own.
I can only confirm what is said in the description, emotion,
texture and a touch of naivety.
Pay the site a visit and be warmed, I was.
