Gallt Y Wenallt and Snowdon

Site description: Developed from my life' s works and my project From Africa to Iceland: A Visual Celtic Voyage published as a book in December 2007 and complemented by an exhibition at the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth.

Editors Comments: This is an artist that paints with passion and it shows in all of the paintings. I love the way John lets the colour flow in his work.
'Bramble Farm' below is a typical Welsh farmhouse. 'Grassholm Island' is awash with water, there are thousands of gannets in the sky and this makes the painting look 'alive', a lovely piece.
Grassholm is of course one of the major gannet colonies in the UK.

I shall jump to 'Gwern Isaf Farm, Tryfan, Snowdonia' I too have painted 'Tryfan' I even tried climbing it once, that's another story, but the atmosphere that is generated in this painting is as nature intended, excellent.
The 'Esja Mountain' in Iceland looks pretty awesome ion itself and ' Crumbling Ksour; Dades Gorge' in Morocco is another painting that oozes strong sunlight.
In summary I can honestly say I have enjoyed my time looking at John's work, if you like moody watercolours then you will too.
