I have chosen these paintings for the variation of style, look at 'Pendle Hill'. A nice use of pastel shades give a feeling of warmth, a feeling of freedom as well, I feel like I could walk to that mountain. The single 'Eternal Rose' is beautiful, the depth of the work is immense. The 'Sunset', is a mixture of warm colours painted in abstract form which gives a sort of glow. The 'Sunflower', lonely, maybe. 'Eternity' is a bit spooky, I envisage all of us disappearing into a vortex, a hole, at some point, I wonder if it really is like this! Could be. The 'Poppies' a different slant on a familiar theme, beautiful. We need more work though Joanne, just keep painting.
