Editors comment: This painting of 'Trevance Cove Beach' is of my liking, the painting, an original oil, is not overworked and looks fresh as a result. The painting shows excellent colour perspective and tonal balance, it would be easy to get that wrong with a subject like this. Once again I must stress that every artist has work to this standard and I admit to being at a loss over which images to choose. The only thing I can do is urge you to pay a visit to the site and form your own conclusion.

Editors comment: Nicholas has a talent that I find very rare, his technique seems to be unique to himself and no other artist that I have ever met, how on earth you can achieve translucency on this scale I don't know. Some of his paintings seem to trick you into thinking that you are looking through glass and the reflection of something else shines through. You really do need to see for yourself, super work.

Editors comment: As a lover of Rugby Union and sport in general this site has given me great pleasure, the way the artist captures the movement of the players is excellent. One has to wonder at the skill in knowing when to stop painting, if that sounds ridiculous think about it, to much detail and the painting would lose the atmosphere, very clever.
The technique of the artist is further demonstrated when you view his life drawing pages, again Allan seems to know just when to stop, brilliant. I really do recommend that you pay a visit, this is another artists site that you will enjoy.

Editors comment: Talk about complicated! Where would one begin to draw this composition? just look at the lines and curves, it is surely a skill just to get past the drawing. We have gentle blue at the back, we have warm natural tones in the table and the material draped across it and more lemons in beautiful scooped containers. Patricia paints a very desirable picture, maybe one for the house, your house! I could live with one of these works without doubt. Absolutely lovely.

Margaret has a unique style and I love it, she is not afraid to draw people, people in various positions and more to the point people on the move. She seems able to freeze the subjects in time yet if you look close you can see the subject in slight motion. When we take this image of the dancers you can almost here the music they are dancing to, I think the work is truly inspirational and have no problem in asking you to visit the site.
